     LinkedIn is a very unique form of social media. Most forms of social media, such as Instagram; Snapchat; and Facebook are more for personal use and to stay in contact with friends, but LinkedIn is completely different. LinkedIn is specifically built for professionals whether that is an individual or a business.

    For instance, LinkedIn users' main reason for being on the platform is to grow their professional network by connecting with other individuals and businesses. On the platform users are able to do things like apply for jobs, stay informed on industries of interest, and stay up to date on the latest news for companies. This also makes LinkedIn very well suited for businesses as they can be very interactive with their target markets and find potential employees while at it. 

    Another thing that sets LinkedIn apart is that it is very good for business-to-business marketing (B2B marketing). It is in fact the top platform for B2B marketers to generate content and leads from the content. Part of what makes it so good is that it is known to be one of the most trustworthy platforms, so customers can gain the trust of customer for easily. This all comes back to LinkedIn being a very professional based social media platform and makes it very useful for brands to build relationships.
