Live Tweeting: ONU Cornhole Tournament

Last week, here at ONU, was homecoming week. There were all types of events being held on campus throughout the week to celebrate. Some of the events included a networking event, a cornhole tournament, a football game, and a women's soccer game. I was able to make it to the 1st Annual ONU Cornhole Tournament and live tweet about it.

The tournament was held in the Fieldhouse of the King Horn Athletic Center and hosted by the Sport Management Club. In the Fieldhouse, there was plenty of open space where eight sets of cornhole boards were set up, which was plenty for the 35 teams signed up. The tournament was double elimination, so there was plenty of action to go around. There were many smiling faces all around, but still some serious competition. The great competition and many hours wasn't for nothing. The top three teams were able to walk out with gift cards to places around campus. The event overall ran pretty smoothly and lasted a little over three hours.

  2. Cade the cornhole tournament was a great success. I had a lot of fun during my time there, it is very unfortunate I won't be around for the second annual.
